ACS Partners member firms are able to provide a full range of services in relation to business acquisitions and disposals. We specialise in the sale of companies for entrepreneurs, families, investors and major corporations. For business vendors, our understanding of local cultures, markets and regulatory environments and expertise in cross-border transactions gives our clients access to both local and international acquirers. We are able to work with vendors in: preparing a business for sale; valuation; preparation of an information memorandum; identifying potential acquirers; managing the sale process; and assisting in the sale negotiations.
For clients interested in growing through acquisition, we work closely with management to identify suitable targets, initiate, expedite and execute transactions that fulfil their growth and investment strategies around the world. Based on our long track record of generating acquisition opportunities and our extensive network of contacts, we are ideally placed to generate a consistent stream of qualified, relevant acquisition and investment opportunities.
Raising funds to help support your business's growth is fundamental to financing a company, and in the unprecedented economic environment, this is an ever-increasing challenge for smaller businesses. ACS work proactively with clients to identify capital and financing needs and our partner firms have assisted many clients in raising finance to fund growth plans, acquisitions, recapitalisation and liquidity requirements. Finance may be sourced through banks or other lending institutions against assets or cash flow or, though VCs or HNWIs. Our funding specialists have also assisted many entrepreneurs in sourcing finance for start-up ventures and buy-outs/buy-ins.
Our partners can help guide you throughout the whole process, from identifying the most appropriate forms of finance, through to the final negotiations. We will: consider your requirements against our knowledge of the market; test the strategy and business plan, including an analysis of the funding requirement; assist with the presentation of the opportunity to potential funders; help with the preparation and presentation of the financial model for submission to funders including carrying out robust sensitivity analysis on the banking covenants; leverage our relationships with funders to gauge appetite and terms.
In challenging circumstances, businesses may experience under-performance or financial stress. When issues emerge such as tight liquidity, potential covenant breaches or maturing facilities that could be difficult to refinance, we support companies and their stakeholders by: assessing business viability; identifying the strategic options; and implementing any financial restructuring. By combining our local and cross-border restructuring expertise, we will identify opportunities to stabilise a business and build a foundation for growth.
We will help management stabilise finances and operations to reassure all parties that proactive steps are being taken to maintain value and business operations. Our team can develop liquidity forecasts, improve cash flow management, provide guidance in obtaining additional financing, and assist in negotiating loan covenant waivers and debt restructuring.
Our partners may also be able to provide or identify interim finance or operational management to support the turnaround plan.

ACS may also provide interim management in turnaround or post acquisition situations.
